In 1999, due to the splitting process of the customs and transit division, ALTIUS was founded, a company that, in addition to providing the aforementioned services, will extend them to the field of integral logistics, assisting the Foreign Trade sector in all its facets.
In 2002 it was decided to centralize the administrative services of most of the companies belonging to the Davila Group; a process that was successfully concluded in 2005, with the consolidation of an independent company called DAVILA SERVICIOS ADMINISTRATIVOS.
In the same year, the group launched the commercial brand ROYAL SPANISH, specialising in services for large yachts, such as management, chartering, buying and selling, technical advice on construction, crew management, berth management, etc.
The Davila Group, in order to better protect the interests of the shipowners it represents, avoiding unpredictable and unwanted conflicts of interest, offers its Agency services through three totally independent organizations, such as MARÍTIMA DAVILA and MARÍTIMA ASTONDO.
Currently, among its port facilities, several marine terminals stand out, such as Vigo's Container Terminal(TERMAVI), DAVILA REEFER TERMINAL (refrigerated facilities in the port of Marín) and other joint-ventures, such as TCT (Tenerife Container Terminal) and Esticargo (refrigerated cargo stevedoring in Marín).
The company also has its own marina in Vigo, MARINA DAVILA SPORT, whose objective is to offer the client an integral service in the field of nautical sports.
The marina has the possibility of berthing the largest yachts built to date with total ease and safety.
At the marina, there was also MARINA DAVILA RESTAURANT, with a cozy decoration and privileged views of the Vigo estuary, where you could taste a varied menu of traditional Galician flavors, prepared with avant-garde cuisine techniques; currently this service has been outsourced and is managed by reputable restaurateurs of the city under the name of Restaurant Son Vento.
In 2020, the Group has made significant investments in DART, Davila reefer Terminal, with new facilities in Vigo, warehouses with the latest technology for the reception and preservation of fruit incoming from South America. Also the company Transglobal has taken over the ADIF concession in the Port of Vigo for TECO transport by rail, which makes it an intermodal terminal.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that within the Davila Group there are several companies specialized in real estate, finance and alternative energy investments.
